You’re really going to like this.
I’ve been racking my brain over the last few weeks trying to decide what gifts I could give you right before my book, Black Hole Focus, launches next month.
I wanted to give you something with a lot of value but I also wanted to give you something exclusive, personal, and simple to deliver. Here’s what I came up with:
1. An exclusive and advanced copy of my TED Talk.
I just gave my first TED Talk this weekend and you get to see some of the raw footage before anyone else in the world sees any part of it.
2. A hilarious (and embarrassing) blooper real from my book teaser video shoot. And the full teaser video itself.
At one point, my mouth literally stops working. You have to see this. I won’t be sharing it ever again. I’m also going to let you see the full book teaser video before it goes live. You’ll have private access to both the blooper real and the full teaser on Vimeo.
3. The first two chapters of Michael Smith’s Go Naked: Revealing the Secrets of Successful Selling.
Go Naked is a great read and I wanted to give you access to it. Michael is one of the many people who used the system outlined in Black Hole Focus to dramatically transform his life. His success story is outlined in one of the case studies in my book.
All you have to do to get everything on the above list is pre-order one copy of my book and email me a picture of your receipt. That’s it.
Then I’ll send you the links and passwords you’ll need to claim your gifts.

The book industry can be kind of secretive.
Before getting into the industry myself, I never understood why authors would put together pre-order book gifts. It turns out that pre-orders go a long way in determining a book’s success at launch. Pre-orders also play a big part in deciding which books make it onto bestseller lists. This makes sense if you think about it.
The pre-orders don’t get processed until the book is officially launched. Instead, they pile up. Then, once the book is launched, all the pre-orders get processed at once, registering a bunch of sales in a short amount of time.
Given that book sales are tracked and refreshed on a weekly basis after launch, the best way for a book to be successful is by selling as many copies as possible between pre-orders and the end of the first week of launch.
3 Years, 130 Articles, & 60 Videos Later
I really appreciate all of the support you’ve given me over the last three years. It’s been a long and enjoyable journey. I’ve shared over 130 articles and 60 videos with you and I can’t wait to share more. My goal is to continue spreading this message of confidence, connection, and science-based action by getting Black Hole Focus into the hands of as many other people as possible.
The truth is, no one writes a book to become rich and famous anymore. And that’s not what writing a book should be about anyway. People write books to have an impact – to change the lives of others for the better.
Here’s the key: it’s your support that makes the impact.
Thank you for your support and thank you for making an impact.
